The applicant is seeking regular bail in Crime No. 894 of 2019 registered with Vijapur Naka Police Station, Solapur for the offence punishable under section 306 of the Indian Penal Code.

The state resistant bail by primly submitting that trail is practically complete as till date six witnesses have been examined. Perused the investigation papers. At the instance of First Information Report lodged by wife of deceased, crime was registered.

It is the prosecution case that the applicant is Bangaladeshi national, working as a Bar girl. She had developed love affair with deceased. She had insisted Sharada

39.BA.2452.21.doc deceased for marriage and also started to reside at Solapur with the deceased. There are allegations that the applicant was insisting deceased to pay Rs.50 lakhs to buy a flat in Panwel. It is stated that applicant was harassing deceased by threatening that she would expose him. 4.

The applicant was arrested on 05.01.2021. The charges were framed long back and till date six witnesses were examined. It reveals that applicant is hailing from Bangladesh. There are high chances of abscondence in case of her release. At this advanced stage of trial there is no propriety in releasing her on bail. However certain directions are needed to conclude the trial expeditiously. In view of that order.

ORDER

Application stands rejected.

The learned trial judge is requested to expedite the trial and conclude the same within three months from today.
