We find that before filing this writ petition, the petitioner has not approached the competent authority of the respondents. In the circumstances, we dispose of this petition with liberty to the petitioner to submit a detailed representation with supporting documents in regard to his claim that he is entitled to receive the salary in the revised pay scale as mentioned in the relief clause of the petition. In case such representation is submitted by the petitioner within four weeks from today, the same shall be considered and appropriate decision shall be taken by the competent authority of the respondents, keeping in view the judgments on which the petitioner may place reliance along with the representation. Let the decision as aforesaid be taken by the competent authority of the
