2) Record indicates that, the Sessions Case No.20 of 2022 pending on the file of Additional Sessions Judge, Karad, District Satara arising out of C.R. No.57 of 2014 registered with Karad Police Station is pending for final adjudication.

3) As per the report submitted by the Superintendent, NashikRoad Central Prison, the Petitioner is undergoing sentence of life imprisonment in an offence bearing C.R. No.192 of 2013 registered with Azad Maidan Police Station, Mumbai.

ssm 38-wp1671.23.doc 4) In view thereof, we request the learned Additional Sessions Judge, Karad to expedite the hearing of the case of the Petitioner. 5) Learned Additional Sessions Judge, Karad Seized of Sessions Case No.20 of 2022 is requested to adopt appropriate steps for transfer of Petitioner to nearby jail after the charge is framed, to facilitate expeditious hearing of the said case.

6) Petition is disposed off in the aforesaid terms. 7) Before parting with the Order, we place on record our appreciation for the efforts put in by Mr. Mr. Sarfaraj Shaikh, learned Advocate appointed by the High Court Legal Services Committee, Mumbai for espousing the cause of Petitioner as he was thoroughly prepared in the matter and rendered proper assistance to the Court.
