Learned counsel for the applicant seeks leave to withdraw the application but makes a request that considering that the applicant is in custody since 26/09/2019 for a period of more than 3 years and 3 months, the trial be expedited. Learned trial Court is requested to expedite the trial and conclude the same

In any case, the trial Court is requested to record the evidence of the child in terms of Section 35 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012 within a period of one months from the date when this order is produced on record.

Liberty to apply after six months in case the trial does not proceed substantially.

The bail application is allowed to be withdrawn and disposed of accordingly.
