Ms Deshmukh, learned counsel for the Maharashtra Pollution Control Board - respondent No.2, makes a statement that the petitioner's application for amendment to the consent to operate will be considered and disposed of in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from today.

In view of the aforesaid statement, this petition is disposed of, since, this was precisely the prayer of the petitioner in prayer clause (b) of the petition. The learned counsel for the petitioner was in fact only pressing relief in terms of prayer clause (b). 3.
