Heard the parties for sometime.

This Application is filed seeking condonation of delay caused in filing Appeal. Delay is of 1 year and 277 days. The Appeal is by the Corporation. Reasons are stated in paragraphs 5 and 6 of the Application. The reasons assigned are administrative difficulties. Since the Appeal is against the order passed by the Small Causes Court in the matter of property tax, if the delay is not condoned, there would be loss to the Corporation.

The Application is vehemently opposed by the Respondent submitting that there is no proper reason assigned for BGP.

This Court finds that since Appeal is in respect of property tax matter, delay deserves to be condoned. The delay is therefore condoned.
