Heard the learned counsel appearing for the applicant. This application is filed by the legal representative of the original writ petitioner. This application proceeds on the footing that the original writ petition being Writ Petition No.2371 of 1988 was dismissed for default. Therefore, the prayer in this application is for restoration. We have perused the file of the original writ petition. It appears that by an order dated 24.06.1996, the writ petition has been rejected by a Shraddha Talekar PA 1/2

6.caw.1748.14.wp.237.1988.doc speaking order. Reasons have been assigned by the Division Bench for coming to the conclusion that there is no substance in the writ petition. Even a writ of the said order has been issued to the concerned Land Acquisition Officer, No.14, Kolhapur on 9.09.1996.
