The petitioner is original complainant in criminal case No.57/PW/2014 pending before learned Metropolitan Magistrate 21st Court, Bandra, Mumbai. The case is arising out of C.R. No. 58 of 2012 lodged by petitioner. 2.

The only relief sought in this petition is that appropriate direction be issued to the trial Court to expedite disposal of the criminal case.

The petitioner in person submitted that, he is senior citizen aged about 71 years. FIR was registered in 2012. There is no progress in the trial. Whenever the case is listed before trial Court longer date is given.

Learned APP submitted that the prosecution proposes to examine about 15 witnesses. Appropriate directions be issued to the trial Court.

Considering the fact that the complainant is senior citizen aged about 71 years. The case arising out of C.R. No. 58 of 2012 registered in the year 2012 and the proceedings are pending before the trial Court since 2012. Appropriate directions for early disposal of case could be given to the trial Court.

ORDER

(i) Hearing of C.C. No.57/PW/2014 pending before the learned Metropolitan Magistrate 21st Court, Bandra, Mumbai is expedited.

(ii) The trial Court is requested to make an endevour to complete the proceedings in C.C. No. 57/PW/2014 by giving priority within nine months from date of receipt of order. (iii) This order shall be communicated to the trial Court immediately.

(iv) Petition stands disposed of.
