The challenge in this writ petition is to the order passed by the Maharashtra Administrative Tribunal in Original Application No.1056 of 2022 dated 21st March 2023. By that order, the Original Application preferred by the petitioner seeking appointment on compassionate ground came to be rejected inter alia on the ground that on 3rd November 2012, the petitioner was informed about rejection of the application seeking compassionate appointment. This communication was not challenged. Instead, another application on 9th June 2014 came to be made. This application was rejected on 13th June 2016 but again this communication was also not challenged. Yet again on 3rd December 2021, a fresh application was made which was rejected

ppn 2 23.wp-12374.23.doc on 17th December 2022. The learned Member of the Tribunal has observed that on failure on the part of the petitioner to raise a challenge to the initial communication dated 3rd November 2012, filing of repeated representations would not extend the period of limitation. 3.

Be that as it may, the father of the petitioner expired on 9th July 2004. The period of almost 20 years has now passed. In the given facts, the Tribunal did not commit any error when it dismissed the Original Application.

We do not find any case made out for interfering in the writ jurisdiction. The writ petition is therefore, dismissed. JITENDRA JAIN, J.
