By this Writ Petition, the petitioner is seeking defreezing of his bank account. It is an admitted position that in the present case, the offence has been registered under the Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act, 1999 apart from other sections under Indian Penal Code, 1860 and that the matter is pending before the Special Court.

Therefore, we are of the view that it would be appropriate that the petitioner approaches the Special Court to seek the reliefs

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed off by granting liberty to the petitioner to move an appropriate application before the Special Court within a period of two weeks from today. If such an application is moved within the stipulated time, the Special Court to decide the same within a period of four weeks from such application being filed. We make it clear that we have not expressed any opinion on the merits of the matter.

Writ Petition is disposed off accordingly.
