The applicant was charged with the offences under Section 408, 418 and 420 of IPC. Upon trial, the Sessions Court, Greater Bombay, through judgment dated 15th February 2019 in Sessions Case No. 483/2016, convicted the applicant and sentenced him to, among other things, two years' rigorous imprisonment. The applicant had been on bail during trial and has no record of violating the conditions. Nor has any criminal antecedents.

2. As the sentence is for two years and as the applicant had been

2/2 25appa675.19.doc on bail during the trial, I reckon it is a fit case for the Court suspending sentence.

I accordingly suspend the sentence and enlarge the applicant on bail subject to the same conditions as imposed by the trial Court in its order dated 15th February 2019.
