Heard the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner. 2.

There is an innocuous prayer inasmuch as a direction is sought to Respondent No.2 - Superintendent of Jail, Central Jail, Nasik Road, Nasik to decide the application filed by the petitioner's husband for being released on Covid-19 parole. 3.

It is stated in the petition that the application of the petitioner's husband is pending from 4th May, 2021 and the same is not yet decided.

We, therefore, direct Respondent No.2 - Superintendent of Jail, Central Jail, Nasik Road, Nasik to decide the application filed by the petitioner's husband, namely, Virendra Drikpalsingh Thakur, on 4th May, 2021, if not decided already, as expeditiously as possible, however within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. We make it clear that we have not expressed any opinion on merits and it is for the concerned authority to take decision in accordance with law. 5.

With the above observations, the petition stands disposed off.
