Heard. By this Writ Petition, the Petitioner is seeking direction against Respondent No.1 to decide the Revision Application filed by Respondent No.2, as early as possible. The learned AGP for Respondent No.1 has filed Affidavit-in-Reply dated 26.11.2019 duly affirmed by Mr.Sanjay Ingle, Dy. Secretary, Industries, Energy and Labour Department, Mantralaya, Mumbai. Same is taken on record.

The learned AGP, after taking instructions from the concerned officer, who is present in court, makes a Basavraj G. Patil 1/2

18.400.17-wp.odt statement that they will decide the Revision Application filed by Respondent No.2 within eight weeks from today, after hearing all the parties.

In view of the statement made by the learned AGP, following order is passed:

a.

The Writ Petition is allowed in terms of prayer clause (a), which reads thus:

(a) that this Honourable Court may be pleased to issue a writ of mandamus or a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus or any other appropriate writ, order or direction under Article 226 of the Constitution of India directing Respondent No.1 to conduct the hearing and to decide the Revision Application filed by Respondent No.2 on the backdrop of the order date 07.08.2012, letters dated 09.01.2014 and 17.03.2015 pursuant to the order dated 08.09.2010 passed by the Joint Secretary (Mines), Ministry of Mines, New Delhi, expeditiously." b.

Respondent No.1 is directed to decide the said Revision Application on or before 29.02.2020, after hearing all the parties.

Writ Petition stands disposed of accordingly. No order as to costs.
