The present petition is filed challenging rejection of application filed under Section 48 (1) of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894.

In view of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 which came into force from 01/01/2014, the petitioners intend to file a fresh petition withdrawing the present petition. Accordingly, learned Counsel for petitioners is permitted to withdraw the petition with liberty to file a fresh petition. The petition is dismissed as withdrawn.
