The applicant has preferred this application for interim relief in the nature of anticipatory bail till his application is decided by the Sessions Court at Pune. The applicant has sought anticipatory bail from that court in connection with C.R. No.150/2021 registered at Dehu Road police station, Pimpri Chinchwad, Pune under various sections of IPC including sections 353 of IPC and sections 4 and 5 of the Maharashtra Prevention of Gambling Act etc..

Learned Counsel for the applicant states that the next date of hearing before the Sessions Court is 21.6.2021.

Considering this very short date, it would be in the interest of justice that the applicant is protected till 21.6.2021. It is expected that the application before the Sessions Court is decided on that date. It is made clear that I have not addressed the issue on merit. All questions are specifically left open to be decided by the Sessions Court in accordance with law. Hence, the following order.

O R D E R

(i) In the event of his arrest in connection with C.R. No.150/2021 registered with Dehu Road police station, Pimpri Chinchwad, Pune, till 21.6.2021, the applicant be released on bail on his executing P.R. bond in the sum of Rs.30,000/- (Rupees Thirty Thousand Only) with one or two sureties in the like amount.

(ii) This order shall operate till 21.6.2021.

(iii) The Application is disposed of accordingly.
