By this Petition, the petitioner is challenging the order dated 25.2.2009 issued by the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Zone-I, Vashi, Navi Mumbai. By the said order issued under Section 56(1)(a)(b) of the Bombay Police Act, 1951, petitioner is externed for a period of one year from Thane, Raigad, Greater Mumbai and Mumbai Suburban District . The period of one year has already expired. Be that as it may, the petitioner has also not challenged the said order by filing an appeal under Section 60 of the Bombay Police Act. It appears that the petitioner has approached
