This is an application for condonation of delay in filing an appeal against conviction passed by the District Judge-2 and Addl. Sessions Judge, Kalyan vide Judgment and Order dated 17/11/2018 in Atrocity Special Case No. 91 of 2015. The appellant has been in custody since 17/11/2018. For the reasons assigned in paragraphs-3, 4 and 5, the delay of 82 days in filing an appeal against conviction deserves to be condoned in the interest of justice.
