The Appellant had preferred this Appeal against his conviction and sentence under Section 302 of the Indian Penal Code. A communication has been received stating that the Appellant was transferred to Thane Central Prison on 9th May, 2009. The communication states that the convict was admitted in the hospital for treatment and he expired while undergoing treatment on 13th September, 2015. The said communication is taken on record and marked as 'X' for identification. In this view of the matter, the Appel abates and is disposed of as such. As we have appointed Advocate Ms. Rohini Dandekar to represent the Appellant in the Appeal and she has taken tremendous efforts to go through the record and prepare herself in the matter, we quantify the fees to be paid to Advocate Ms.
