The Applicant herein has sought to condone the delay in challenging the judgment dated 31.04.1994 in Land reference No. 144 of 1987, whereby the Reference Court has awarded compensation of Rs.475781/-. 2.

It is seen that the Applicant had not taken steps to bring on record legal representatives of Respondent Nos.1(c), 3 and 4(c). By the Order of Registrar (Judicial -II) dated 5.10.2018, proceedings have already abated against Respondent Nos.1(c), 3 and 4(c).

Learned AGP states that the papers are not traceable and as such she is unable to state whether the amount is deposited. The matter is pending since the year 1991. No sufficient cause is shown to condone to delay. In the P P Salgaonkar 1/2
