Heard the learned Counsel appearing for the Petitioner and the learned APP for the State. The petition is filed for following relief :

"a) that this Hon'ble Court be pleased to issue writ, order and direction directing the Respondents to forthwith take all the necessary steps under the provisions of law for the purpose of investigation of FIR No. 20 of 2017 registered under the provisions of "Section 498A, 406, 34 of IPC including the steps for recovery of the articles and arrest of the accused named therein on such terms as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper" 2.

The Petitioner is the complainant in the FIR bearing CR. No. 20 of 2017 registered with SamtaNagar Police Station for the offence punishable under sections 498A and 406 read with 34 of IPC. Five persons are shown as accused, namely, the Petitioner's husband patilsr 1 / 2

and in-laws.

The learned APP, on instructions, makes a statement that except husband of the Petitioner, all other persons have been granted anticipatory bail. So far as the Petitioner's husband is concerned, his application for anticipatory bail is pending in the High Court and by way of ad-interim order, temporary protection is granted to him.

In the light of above, we find that no fault can be found with the Investigating Officer. The petition is without any merit and the same is therefore dismissed.
