This is an Anticipatory Bail Application in connection with C.R. No. 71 of 2019 registered with Deccan Police Station Dist. Pune for an offences punishable under Sections 376(2)(n), 417, 506 of Indian Penal Code. The FIR was lodged on 10th March, 2019. 2.

It is alleged that the complainant got acquainted with the applicant on social media and thereafter they exchanged mobile numbers and started chatting on what's-app messenger as both of them were pursuing higher studies in Gynecology Department. It is further alleged that, there was promise of marriage and physical relationship between them.

Applicant was granted interim protection during the pendency

It is contented by the applicant that as per the directions of the Sessions Court the applicant had reported the Investigating Officer. It is further submitted by the learned counsel for the applicant that the room premises in the hotel was booked by the complainant on 3rd January 2019, which is apparent from the communication sent by the hotel. The complainant had the said communication to applicant. 4.

Apparently the victim and the applicant were in relationship. They were acquainted with each other from May 2018. The FIR was lodged on 10th March 2019. The applicant has attended the Investigating Officer. In these circumstances, custodial interrogation of the applicant is not necessary.

Hence, I pass following order.

:: O R D E R ::

(i) Anticipatory Bail Application No.960 of 2019, is allowed;

(ii) In the event of arrest of the applicant in connection with C.R. No. 71 of 2019 registered with Deccan Police Station Dist. Pune, the applicant be released on bail on furnishing P. R. Bond in the sum of Rs.20,000/-, with one or more sureties in the like amount;

3 of 3 37-ABA-960-19.doc (iii) The applicant shall attend the investigating officer as and when called for, till filing of charge sheet. (iv) Anticipatory Bail Application stands disposed of accordingly.
