By an order dated 27th April, 2018, the applicant was granted interim relief and was directed to attend the investigating officer on stipulated dates.

Heard the learned Counsel for the applicant and the learned APP. Perused the record of investigation. The record indicates that as per the directions the applicant has attended the Investigating Officer and joined the process of investigation. After taking into consideration the allegations made against the applicant and the peculiar facts of the case, this Court is of the view that the custodial 1/2

18-ABA894-18.DOC interrogation of the applicant for further investigation of the present crime is not necessary. In view thereof, the applicant is entitled to be protected by pre-arrest bail. 3.

Interim relief granted by Order dated 27th April, 2018 is hereby confirmed. However, the condition to attend the Investigating Officer of concerned police station is waived. 4.

Application is allowed in aforesaid terms.
