The Learned Counsel for the Petitioner states that the Petitioner's tribe claim as belonging to Thakar-Scheduled Tribe is pending before the Scheduled Tribe Certificate Scrutiny Committee, Pune (for short STCS Committee), since the year 2013. The Petitioner in the interregnum has retired and it is the case of the Petitioner that his retiral benefits has been withheld on the ground that the Petitioner has not produced the caste validity certificate. We therefore direct the STCS Committee i.e. the Respondent No.2 to decide the tribe claim of the Petitioner latest by 20-2-2019, if not already decided. The Petitioner to appear before the STCS Committee on 1-11-2018, however, the STCS Committee to decide the tribe claim within the outer limit fixed by the instant order, if the same has already not been decided.
