This is a Writ Petition for expediting the trial i.e., Sessions Case No.377 of 2017 pending before the Special Judge under POCSO Act, Dindoshi under Sections 376(2)(n), 376(2)(L), 354(B), 354(D), 342, 504, 506 of Indian Penal Code as well as under Sections 4, 8, 10 and 12 of The Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012 (for short "POCSO Act"). The offences under this Act are required to be tried at the earliest. The Applicant is already in custody for six years. The offences are serious.
