Heard the applicant, who appears in person. Heard Mr.H.S.Venegaonkar the learned counsel for the respondent No.2/CBI.

The applicant is seeking permission to travel abroad only for a short duration. In the past, the applicant was permitted to depart from India by the trial Court during the pendency of the trial. It does not appear to me that the applicant is likely to abscond, if permitted to go abroad.

pro.2.APPANo.6172015 In the circumstances, I am inclined to allow the application subject to certain conditions.

The applicant is permitted to depart from India and be at Singapore and Thiland during the period from 27/05/2015 to 05/06/2015 (both days inclusive) on the following conditions: (a) The applicant shall execute a personal bond in the sum of Rs.25,000/- as and by way of additional security for his appearance before this Court.

(b) The applicant shall give at least 48 hours previous notice, in writing, to the Investigating Officer regarding his travel details such as Flight No., Ticket No., Visa particulars etc.

(c) The applicant shall also give to the Investigating Officer, in writing, his address/addresses and contact telephone numbers where he would be available for communication.

(d) The applicant shall return to India on or before 6th June 2015 and report this fact to this Court by remaining present on 9th June 2015.
