1) By this Interim Application, Applicant is seeking relief to the extent of permission to apply for renewal of passport during pendency of Appeal.

2) Our attention is invited to similar relief granted during pendency of present Appeal which is pending for final hearing. 1/2

5.1538.22 ia..doc 3) A categorical statement is made in response to the Court's query that in the intervening period after the appeal is admitted, no criminal offences are registered against the Applicant. 4) In the aforesaid background and having regard to earlier order dated 25/04/2012 by this Court on similar line, Application stands allowed in terms of prayer clause (a) which reads thus: "(a) the Applicant may be permitted to apply for renewal of passport in his own name, during the pendency of appeal and also may kindly be issue no objection to the Applicant to renewal of passport in his own name for next 10 years".

5) Needless to clarify that Applicant shall not leave the country without leave of this Court which condition is already existing and operating against the Petitioner since 2012 as reflected in the order referred above.

6) Application stands disposed of.
