Learned counsel for the Petitioner having taken instructions from his client, who is present in the Court, seeks leave to withdraw the writ petition with liberty to file discharge application before the trial Court. Leave with liberty as prayed for is granted. Petition is allowed to be withdrawn and is disposed of as such.

In the event Petitioner files an application for discharge, the trial Court shall endeavour to decide the same expeditiously. Such application shall be decided on its own merits. It is made made clear that this Court has not gone into merits of the matter and all points and contentions of the respective parties are kept open.
