1) The learned APP, on instructions from the Investigating Officer who is present in Court, submitted that in pursuance of the Order dated 6/5/2016, the applicant has attended the Investigating Officer and joined the process of investigation. She further, on instructions, submitted that the custodial interrogation of the applicant is not necessary for further investigation. However, the applicant may be directed to attend the Investigating Officer till completion of investigation and filing of the charge-sheet. 2) In view of the above, the interim relief granted by an order dated 6/5/2016 is hereby confirmed with modification in clause No. 5 (d) of the said order that the applicant shall attend the Investigating Officer as and when called for between 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. till

It is needless to mention that before calling the applicant to the police station, the investigating officer or any other concerned police officer from the concerned police station shall issue a notice under section 160 of Code of Criminal Procedure to the applicant. 3) The application is allowed in the aforesaid terms.
