P.C.:- 1) By an order dated 27th April, 2018 interim relief was granted to the applicant and he was directed to attend the Investigating Officer on stipulated dates and to join the process of investigation.

2) The prosecutrix is aged about 20 years. The record indicates that the applicant by giving promise to marry with the prosecutrix, established physical relationship with her and subsequently resiled from his promise. The record further indicates that, the prosecutrix was major on the date of alleged incident and was a consenting party to the said alleged crime under Section 376 of the IPC against the applicant. Ladda 2 23-aba-898-18.doc pursuance of the order passed by this Court, the applicant has attended the Investigating Officer and has cooperated in the process of investigation.

3) In view thereof, the interim relief granted by an order dated 27th April, 2018 is hereby confirmed.

However, the condition to attend the Investigating Officer is waived.
