The only prayer sought in this petition is to expedite the hearing of Criminal Appeal No.323 of 2019, preferred by the petitioners.

Petitioner nos.1 and 2 were granted maintenance by the Digitally signed by RAJESHRI PRAKASH AHER Date:

2022.07.15 17:30:44 +0530 RAJESHRI PRAKASH AHER Court of learned Judicial Magistrate First Class, Court No.9, Pune, in the sum of Rs.10,000/-, per month. The petitioners have preferred an Appeal before the Sessions Court for enhancement of the maintenance.

rpa 2/2 43wp2366of2022.doc Learned advocate for the petitioners submitted that the Appeal was preferred in 2019, and, since last 2 and years it is 1⁄2 pending before the Sessions Court. Hence, the hearing of the said Appeal may be expedited.

Considering the nature of relief sought in the Appeal preferred by the petitioners before the Sessions Court and also considering the fact that it is pending since 2019, the hearing of the Appeal can be expedited.

Hence, I pass the following order:

:: O R D E R ::

(i) The learned Sessions Judge, Pune, is requested to dispose of criminal Appeal No.323 of 2019, preferred by the petitioners expeditiously, within a period of six months from the date of receipt of this order; (ii) This order may be communicated by the petitioners to the Sessions Court;

(iii) Writ Petition stands disposed of accordingly. (PRAKASH D. NAIK, J.)
