This First Appeal is filed challenging the impugned Judgment and Order dated 27th September 2001 passed by the Joint Civil Judge of the District Court, Thane, in Special Civil Suit No.118 of 1997. 3.

Iit is submitted by learned counsel for the appellant that, in view of the enhancement of the pecuniary jurisdiction of the District Courts, this First Appeal needs to be heard by the District Court. Office Note is also made to that effect.

In view thereof, Registry is directed to send the entire proceedings of this First Appeal, along with Civil Application/s thereto, to the District Court, Thane.
