P.C.:- This is an Application for modification of Order dated 23rd January, 2019, passed by this Court while granting bail to the Applicants. While granting bail, the Applicants were directed to be released on bail on their furnishing P.R. Bond in the sum of Rs.25,000/- each with one or more local sureties in the like amount. The Applicants were also permitted to furnish cash security in the sum of Rs.25,000/- each for a period of six weeks from the date of passing of the said Order.

The learned counsel for the Applicants submitted that, the 1/2

ssm 2 29-appp680.19.doc Applicants are basically German Nationals and had been to India as tourists. He submitted that, since the date of release from Jail, the Applicants tried hard to get solvent local sureties for them however, as they are foreign nationals, nobody is coming forward to remain sureties. He submitted that, as the Applicants are unable to furnish sureties, the Applicants are ready and willing to furnish additional cash security in lieu of sureties.

In view thereof, the Applicants are permitted to remain on bail on their furnishing additional cash security of Rs.1,00,000/- each. After the Applicants furnish additional security of Rs.1,00,000/- each, the condition to furnish one or more local sureties shall stand relaxed/waived.

Application is allowed in the aforesaid terms. All the concerned to act on the basis of an authenticated copy of this Order.
