Having heard learned Counsel appearing for the respective parties, we deem it convenient and appropriate to dispose of this writ petition by directing Respondent No.1 to decide the Petitioner's application filed under section 21 of the Land Acquisition Act 1894, [copy of which is at Exhibit-B to the petition] as expeditiously as possible and at any rate within the period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Ordered accordingly. 2.

It is made clear that this Court has not gone into merits of the matter and all points and contentions of the respective parties are kept open. Respondent No. 1 shall decide the said application of the Petitioner after giving an opportunity of hearing to all concerned and independently, on its own merits and in according with law. patilsr 1 / 2

In order to enable Respondent No. 1 to comply with this order, the Petitioner shall remain present before him on 12th March 2018 along with a copy of this order and copy of the representation. 4.
