The applicants are in custody since last five and half years. They are facing prosecution under the provisions of MCOC Act. It is submitted that the applicants have preferred application for bail before the Special Court under the MCOC Act, which are pending since 15th March, 2022.

Learned APP on instructions submitted that the next date before the Special Court for hearing the bail application is on 5th July, 2022.

Considering fact that applicants are in custody for a prolonged period, the learned Special Judge is requested to decide the applications preferred by petitioners within two weeks from 5th July, 2022.

Petition stands disposed of.
