Learned Counsel for the petitioner states that after filing of the Petition, statutory Appeal has been preferred before the Divisional Commissioner, Pune. Even application for stay of externment order has been preferred.

In this view of the matter, learned Counsel for the petitioner prays that he may be permitted to withdraw the Petition. However, learned Counsel requests that the Commissioner may be directed to decide the application for stay expeditiously. If an application is moved for stay, the Commissioner to decide the application for stay within a period of 2 weeks.
