This is an application seeking condonation of delay in filing an appeal against the conviction wherein the accused appellant is convicted for the offence punishable under section 397 of the Indian Penal Code in Sessions Case No. 414 of 2016 by the Sessions Court at Mumbai. There is delay of 46 days. For the reasons assigned in paragraphs- 3, 4 and 5, the delay of 46 days is condoned in the interest of justice. The application is allowed and disposed of accordingly.
