In the wake of the accusations faced by the applicants in C.R. No.167 of 2022 registered with Ghatkopar Police Station, this court by order dated 24/05/2022, recording the case of the prosecution and making reference to the communication from the ITDC that there is no supply of the Mid-day meal to the anganwadi on account of Covid Pandemic, admitted them to interim bail.

Today, learned A.P.P. makes a statement that the applicants have co-operated with the Investigating Officer and now the investigation is complete. He specifically states, on instructions, that the custodial interrogation of the applicants is not warranted. 3.

In the circumstances, the order dated 24/05/2022 is made absolute. Nonetheless the applicants shall co-operate with the Investigating Officer in completion of the investigation. [SMT. BHARATI DANGRE, J.] AJN
