None appears on behalf of the Petitioner. Heard Mr. Rahul Walia, learned counsel appearing for the Respondent. Learned counsel Mr. Walia submits that the Respondent was working as record sorter in the pay-scale of Rs. 2650-4000 under Medical Director (JRH), BCT and she was promoted to the post of Senior Record Sorter in the pay-scale of Rs. 2750-4400 RPS. The Respondent was reverted from that post on the ground that the said post was reserved for SC employee. The Petitioner challenged the said order of reversion and 1 / 2
WP. 6629-07 the Central Administrative Tribunal (for short "CAT") granted stay to the order of reversion. The original application was allowed by the CAT. Against the said order, the Union of India has filed present writ petition. We are informed that the Respondent retired from the said post on 31.7.2013, and as such petition, the petition has, therefore, practically become infructuous by efflux of time. Writ petition is, therefore, dismissed.
