This Contempt Petition alleges breach of order dated 08.11.2017 passed by this Court in Writ Petition No.4287 of 2017 (exhibit-C, pages 50 and 51). By that order, after hearing both sides, this Court admitted the Petition by issuing Rule and made it returnable after 8 weeks. Rule on interim relief was made returnable after 4 weeks, and in the meantime, ad-interim injunction in terms of prayer clause (c) was granted.

Mr. Nikte submitted that Writ Petition was 1/2

CP253_18.doc ultimately disposed of by this Court on 10 & 16 April, 2019. Rule was discharged. Notwithstanding dismissal of the Petition, interim order granted on 08.11.2017 was ordered to remain in force for a period of 8 weeks. Mr.Nikte submitted that aggrieved by this decision, petitioner preferred S.L.P. being S.L.P.No.12052 of 2019 before the Apex Court. By order dated 10.05.2019, the Apex Court dismissed the S.L.P.

The matter was listed for 'admission' on 17.06.2019. On behalf of the petitioner, request for adjournment was made. Contempt Petition was adjourned till today as a last chance. As none appears for the petitioner, Petition is dismissed in default.
