Heard the learned counsel appointed for the applicant. 2.

The learned APP has filed a report. The applicant is an accused in Special Case No.9 of 2014 (MCOCA Case committed to the Special Court i.e. 55th Court at Mumbai). The report shows that there are 23 cases pending under MCOCA and most of the cases are time-bound cases, either by the Hon'ble High Court or by the Hon'ble Supreme Court. In view of this, the prayer for expeditious trial or time-bound trial cannot be granted. Moreover, the report shows that the applicant happens to be a history sheeter.

In view of this, the application seeking speedy time-bound trial is rejected.

The learned counsel appointed for the applicant has put in best of the efforts to espouse the cause of the applicant. His professioonal fees are quantified at Rs.1,000/- (Rupees one thousand only) to be paid to him within three months from today.

Applications stand disposed of.
