The learned counsel for the applicant volunteers that pursuant to the conviction order, the applicant has already paid an amount of Rs.14,25,000/-, which fact is not disputed by the non applicant. The compensation ordered is of Rs.24,26,760/-. The learned counsel for the applicant, upon instructions, submits that within four weeks, an amount of Rs.2 lakhs will be deposited in this Court. As the statement is made on instructions, the same is accepted as an undertaking.

As such, till the returnable date, the applicant shall be admitted to temporary bail on the same terms on which his release was ordered by the Courts below.

The applicant, on the next date, shall make a statement as to the period within which he shall deposit the balance amount of compensation.
