Heard the learned counsel for the applicant / appellant - husband and the learned counsel for respondent - wife. The appellant and the respondent are present in person.
jdk 2 3.cam195.14_fca.141.14.16.doc The parties have tendered consent terms which are taken on record and marked "X" for identification. The parties state that they have voluntarily signed the consent terms. Today two Demand Drafts i.e. Demand Draft No. 938780 and Demand Draft No. 106241 both dated 19.9.2017 and in the sum of Rs.1,75,000/- have been handed over to the respondent - wife which she confirms having received the same. The copies of the said Demand Drafts are taken on record and marked as "X-1" and "X-2" respectively. Undertakings given in the consent terms are accepted. In view of the consent terms, the marriage between the parties has come to an end and it no longer subsists.
In view of the consent terms, Family Court Appeal No. 141 of 2014 is allowed and is disposed of. In view of the disposal of the Family Court Appeal, Civil Application No. 195 of 2014 does not survive and is disposed of as such. [DR. SHALNI PHANSALKAR-JOSHI,J.] [SMT.V.K.TAHILRAMANI, J.] kandarkar
