The Petitioner has already been informed by the letter dated 13/02/2018 of the Inspector of Police, Economic Offences Wing, GC-II, Mumbai that the enquiry conducted into the appliction of the petitioner did not reveal commission of a cognizable offence and therefore the enquiry has been closed.

If that be so, it is open for the Petitioner to file an application under Section 156(3) of the Criminal Procedure Code before the appropriate Court seeking appropriate directions. This course of action is required to be followed having regard to the judgment of the Apex Court in Sakiri Vasu v/s. State of Uttar Pradesh and others reported in (2008) 2 SCC 409.
