DATED : 27th JUNE, 2022 P.C:- On 24/05/2022 the applicant was admitted to interim protection by recording that there is an unexplained delay in bringing the action in respect of the incident which relate back to the year 2007. Further, since the applicant is not signatory to the agreement nor any amount has come to his account, the protection was granted.

The applicant has reported to the investigating officer as directed and the learned APP do not dispute the statement that the applicant has not signed the agreement and it was executed Ashish Mhaske

2/2 27 ABA 1381-22.doc between his father and the complainant nor has any amount been passed on to him.

An offer was made to the complainant to accept the amount of Rs. 25 lakhs as a moral responsibility to discharge the burden of the father but the complainant state that the value of the property now is approximately 2 crores, and therefore he is not ready to take the offer.

Since the incident is of the year 2007 and in the wake of the observations made in the order dated 24/05/2022, it deserves to be confirmed and is accordingly confirmed. The learned APP however state that the applicant shall be made to attend the police station for a further period of time. Accordingly, the applicant is directed to report to the police station on 30/06/2022 and 1/07/2022 between 2:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m and, thereafter, as and when directed.

The applicant shall tender a certified copy of the alleged gift deed to the investigating officer. Application disposed off.
