1. On the application of the learned counsel for the applicant, he states that the matter is being settled in the Mediation in proceedings under the Domestic Violence Act, 2005. The Registry has since received a report from the Mediator which confirms that the parties had arrived by a mutual consent and have filed the consent terms. Mediation report dated 3 rd December, 2016 is on record. Therefore he seeks leave to withdraw the petition. In the circumstances, I pass the following order:- (i) Petition is allowed to be withdrawn.

(iii) Interim order, if any, stands vacated. (iv) In view of the withdrawal of the petition, the learned counsel for the respondent-wife seeks to withdraw application no.129 of 2017. The said application shall also stands disposed of in view of the disposal of the petition.
