1] Heard learned counsel for the Appellant-wife and learned counsel for the Respondent-husband.

2] This appeal has been preferred by the Appellant-wife as the petition of the Respondent-husband for divorce on the ground of cruelty and desertion was allowed by the Family Court, Nashik. Learned counsel appearing for the Appellant-wife and the Respondent-husband state that the parties have amicably settled the matter among themselves.

They state that on account of the intervention of Mediator Shri Ramchandra Shantaram Apte, Senior Advocate, they have agreed to amicably resolve their dispute. They have tendered consent terms; which are taken on record and marked as "X" for identification. The Appellant-wife and the Respondent-husband state that the contents of the consent terms are correct and they have voluntarily signed the said consent terms. The Appellant-wife states that she has received Rs.6,00,000/- by way of Cheque No.550708 Dated 02/08/2017, drawn on The Nasik Merchants' Co-op Bank Ltd., Nashik, by way of full and final settlement towards her permanent alimony. The undertakings given by both the parties in the consent terms are accepted.

4] The Family Court Appeal is disposed of in terms of the consent terms. Decree be drawn up accordingly. 5] In view of disposal of Family Court Appeal, nothing survives in the Civil Application. Therefore, Civil Application stands disposed of.

It is only on account of the efforts of Shri Ramchandra Apte that the matter could be settled. The Co-ordinator, High Court Main Mediation Centre, to Communicate the words of appreciation to Mediator Shri Ramchandra Apte.
