The applicant, who was apprehending his arrest in connection with C.R. No.124 of 2022 registered with Wada Police Station, Palghar invoking Section 7 of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988, was admitted to interim relief on 26/05/2022. Reliance was placed by the applicant on an order AJN
2/2 41 ABA-1390.22.odt passed in the case of Raju Nawghare, who was admitted to interim protection.

Learned A.P.P. states that pursuant to the directions issued by this court, the applicant had attended to the Investigating Officer and his voice sample has been taken. He makes a categorical statement that the Investigating Officer does not require the custodial interrogation of the applicant. In the wake of the above, the order dated 26/05/2022 is made absolute. The applicant shall however continue to report to the Investigating Officer as and when called for.
