Heard Mr. Rane, learned Advocate for Petitioner. 2.

Petitioner is a senior citizen.

Perused the impugned order dated 15.10.2020 passed under Section 35 of the Maharashtra Slum Areas (Improvement, Clearance And Redevelopment) Act, 1971. Mr. Mali, learned AGP points out that admittedly, there is an efficacious remedy to approach the Grievance Redressal Committee to challenge the impugned order. 4.

Mr. Rane, learned Advocate for Petitioner has drawn my attention to the impugned order which records findings with respect to the eligibility of the Petitioner. However he submitted that despite recording affirmative findings therein, the Appeal filed by the Petitioner has been dismissed.

In view of the above, if in case the Petitioner approaches the GRC it is directed to dispose of the Appeal of the Petitioner within a period of four weeks from the date of filing the Appeal after giving an adequate opportunity to the Petitioner to represent his case and also to file additional documents in support of his case. Mr. Rane submitted that he shall file the Appeal before the GRC within a period of two weeks from today.

All contentions of the parties are kept open. 7.
