P.C. :- The learned Counsel for the Petitioner after arguing for some time submitted that the only relief that he is seeking is that if the Respondents intend to terminate the services of the Petitioner, he may be given a week's time to invoke the remedy of departmental appeal provided under the Service Regulations of the Respondent - Corporation.

In view of this statement made and the fact that the Petitioner is desirous of invoking a remedy provided under the Regulations, it will be appropriate to grant time of one week to the Petitioner.

It is accordingly directed in case order of dismissal is served upon the Petitioner, the order of dismissal will take effect after period of one week thereafter. This indulgence is granted only on the statement of the learned Counsel for the Petitioner that he desirous of invoking the remedy provided under the Regulations alone. It is also made clear that merely because a protection is granted by this Court, it is not incumbent upon the Appellate Authority to continue the same and the Appellate Authority will take a decision on its own merits. 4.

In view of the same, no further orders are required to be passed. Writ Petition is accordingly disposed off in above terms.
