The Applicant is apprehending his arrest in connection with C.R.No. I 0076 of 2019 registered at Silvassa police station (U.T.). The offence was registered on 21/04/2019 U/s.416, 419, 420, 464, 465, 466, 463, 471, 472 and 473 of IPC.

At the outset, learned PP Shri. Venegaokar appearing for the investigating agency makes a categorical statement that the investigating agency does not intend to arrest the applicant in connection with this offence. In this view of the clear statement, since V.B.Gokhale

16-aba-1010-19.odt the applicant does not have apprehension of being arrested, there is no need to touch the merits of the matter. It is sufficient to observe that since learned Public Prosecutor has made a statement, the applicant can be protected by the order granting anticipatory bail in his favour. Learned PP further submits that though investigating agency does not intend to arrest him, he will have to co-operate with the investigation. Considering the situation, following order is passed.

O R D E R

(i) In the event of his arrest in connection with C.R.No. 0076 of 2019 registered with Silvassa Police Station, (U.T.) the applicant is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing PR bond in the sum of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand Only) with one or two sureties in the like amount.

(ii) The applicant shall attend concerned Police Station without fail, as and when called, and shall fully co-operate with the investigation.

(iii) Application stands disposed of accordingly.
